Great food and friendly staff! They even have a wide variety of board games everyone can play. We've been twice, and will continue to go back!

This is your typical hole in the wall bar. Seriously. Why do I give it 5 stars, you ask? Simple. This bar is so incredibly diverse, with such a good, upbeat vibe. The atmosphere alone will bring you back. It's a local hangout most days, but Tuesday nights they do their "dj open mic night, so to speak. That's the night I usually go. It's usually not a huge crowd, but it is growing since more and more people are hearing about it. It's a good mix of so many different people coming together over music. There's no negativity. No fighting. No competing. Just good times, good beats, and good company. As for the bar itself; the drinks are good, the food is decent, the staff is awesome. Drinks aren't watered down or too strong. Food is your typical bar food, but anything I've had I've thoroughly enjoyed. The bartenders to out of their way to make customers feel welcomed and like one or the regulars. Go. Give it a chance. It looks like hell. But you won't regret it. Especially on a Tuesday.

If you want a chill ass bar where djs playing dope ass music, bangin taco specials, stiff arm strong drinks this is the place. If your looking for a quiet bar where people don't speak this is not the place. It's nothing but love as soon as you walk through the door. On Tuesday night they have a night called music lab where 3 djs play! Dope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it wasn't for a Plant Nite event being held here, I would probably have never entered West Beach Tavern by choice. But it wasn't bad at all. Is it a hole in the wall? Yes. Are some of the "regulars" a bit sketchy? Yes. But the staff was super friendly; and from time to time, attempted to "save" my friend and me from one of those regular's constant convo attempts throughout our time there. Food was pretty good as well. Typical bar food. My friend ordered a philly cheese sandwich with fries and her plate was overflowing with food. Huge serving! She enjoyed it. I snagged some of her fries (hand cut style), which were pretty tasty. I opted to order fried mushrooms. The appetizer was freshly made and delicious. My tab, comprised of the mushroom app and 2 Stella Artois, was a little over $20. The ladies restroom area is clean...always important in my book. In addition to the room for large events and the bar, there are tables for eating with 2 pool tables in the middle. Overall, a pleasant experience. Would I come again? Maybe for another Plant Nite.

I love West Beach. The bartenders are awesome, super friendly. When they throw parties, there is always a great turnout. The music selection is unbeatable and whenever they have a DJ there, he does a great job. Taco Tuesday's are great, though I don't recommend the fish tacos....never seem to be enough fish in them. Drinks are poured just right and priced well. Tons of drink specials. Some of the customers can be a drag sometimes, but the bartenders make me happy. Bring a friend!
